About MCCBC
Montana Child Care Business Connect (MCCBC), a program of Zero to Five Montana, supports the start, stability, viability, and expansion of high-quality, child care businesses in Montana.
MCCBC provides comprehensive support to child care businesses across the state. Our strategy involves a combination of one-on-one support and group programs specifically designed to address the unique needs of child care providers.
Understanding the diversity and varied challenges of our state, MCCBC provides invaluable one-on-one consultation and coaching opportunities.
The program is spearheaded by our team of business and industry experts who facilitate in-depth, personalized pathways for solving complex issues. Their goal is to guide immediate and long-term goals of child care providers and engage employers and communities in the shared vision of an elevated child care system.
Montana Child Care Development Fund Partners
MCCBC is funded through the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF), a federal and state partnership program authorized under the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act (CCDBG) and administered by the Montana Department of Public Health & Human Services with funding and support from the Administration for Children and Families’ Office of Child Care.
States use CCDF to provide financial assistance to low-income families to access child care so they can work or attend a job training or educational program.
In addition, states use the CCDF to invest in quality to benefit millions more children by building the skills and qualifications of the teacher workforce, supporting child care programs to achieve higher standards, and providing consumer education to help parents select child care that meets their families’ needs.
In Montana, our CCDF partners include the Early Childhood Project, Child Care Training, Child Care Resources, Family Connections and SPARK Montana.
